Think about a time when someone challenged your opinion or told you that you were wrong. What was the disagreement about, and how did you defend yourself? Did you change their mind, or did they change yours?

Prompt Response: Freshman year in literature class, my teacher had everyone answer a question about should people ever break the law no matter the circumstance. I responded on my paper no and we all had to stand on a certain side of the room. Freshmen me I really didn't care about the debate at all because I hated being here but I was influenced. A girl in the class said yes on her paper and explained that if a pregnant woman was in a rush, would you try to hurry and rush to the hospital, or would you drive the speed limit? I saw where she was coming from and changed my answer, although I didn't really participate in the activity it did change my mind to see it in a different way. I really don't know what I was thinking because if that question was to be asked to me now i'd say yes even if this event never happened.

Summary: We did vocab and exercises on the vocabulary words.

Reflection: I learned some of the vocabulary words. I was also exposed to words I have never seen before.
